The Little Angels Workshops are coming in December! We still need many volunteers, including four group leaders for each workshop, which will be held on December 4 and 11, respectively.
Franconia Anniversary Ornament – Youth Fundraiser
In celebration of the 125th Anniversary of Franconia United Methodist Church, the youth department is proud to present this year’s winter fundraiser, a specially-designed commemorative ornament! These lovely ornaments are Rhodium-plated replicas of the logo for this year’s 125th celebration.
Holiday Food Basket Collection Now in Full Swing!
The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are almost here. We will be providing food for Thanksgiving and Christmas to five families through Koinonia (koinoniacares.org), the food pantry literally in our backyard.

School Supply Donations for Local Students The NOW Ministry is collecting school supplies to help the students who attend our nextdoor neighbor, Franconia Elementary School. Suicide Prevention Month

In 2023, 49,316 Americans died by suicide. In 2023, over 1.5 million adults attempted suicide, and 9% of youth in grades 9-12 attempted suicide at least once in the previous 12 months. 06/20: Youth Group to Meet This Sunday!
This Sunday, June 27 at 1 p.m., we will have a face-to-face meeting for all students in 6th-12th grade. 06/01: Indoor, In-Person Worship Returns to Franconia UMC!
Due to the improved Covid-19 outlook and updated requirements from the Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church, the Healthy Church Team has made the decision to move our in-person worship service to the Sanctuary.
