Effective February 1, 2018, Franconia has a logo that will supplement the cross and flame logo that identifies our church as part of the United Methodist Church.
The Logo Design & Selection Process
- Logo committee: Pastor Melissa, Pastor James, Mike Cagle, Dan Dickinson, Pat Hobbs, Heather Nye, Sharon Sheldon, Jeff Sheldon
- Results of committee’s churchwide survey in November:
- Color preferences: Blues and/or Greens
- Concepts/words that define FUMC:

- Reaching out to the community

- Design criteria submitted via web to graphic designers
- 19 artists from around the world submitted 166 designs
- Committee selected 8 designs from 4 artists
- Churchwide poll helped narrowed the field to this design
Our new logo will uniquely identify FUMC within the local community, while the cross-and-flames will continue to identify FUMC as part of the United Methodist Church.
