Last week we started part I of Exodus, when Moses confronted Pharaoh to free the Israelites, God sent plagues, and Moses finally led the Israelites out of Egypt. We ended with the Israelites out in the wilderness, grumbling and complaining and wishing they were back in good, ole Egypt!
Join us for an exciting discussion of part II this week as the Israelites reach Mount Sinai. We’ll talk about God’s covenant promises, the terms of the covenant (the Ten Commandments) and other laws; God’s character; and how God reconciles the conflict between His holiness, goodness, and presence with the sinfulness and corruption of His own covenant people.
