Bishop Lewis has issued A Call to Prayer and Fasting “For the Healing of the Nation” leading up to Election Day.
Prayer is essential to sustain our faith and fasting calls us to refocus our attention and listen for God. The Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

As our nation is affected by political division, the pandemic, and racism, please be in prayer for the election, the State of Virginia and our Nation. Bishop Lewis further urges everyone to exercise your right to vote as we seek God’s direction for our country.
