Franconia Family and friends – Please share the following information regarding Fairfax County Public School’s (FCPS) “Grab and Go Meals” for kids and adults – the program started March 17:
FCPS is providing grab and go meals at no cost for students at a variety of sites throughout Northern Virginia.
The food distribution is set up outside the schools. Breakfast will be served from 8-10:30 a.m. and lunch from 10:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the locations in this link, which will be kept updated. Right now the closest distribution to FUMC are these locations:
Cameron ES, 3434 Campbell Drive, Alexandria
Edison HS, 5801 Franconia Road, Alexandria
FCPS students are welcome to come to any of the sites to pick up a meal during these time periods.
All students enrolled in FCPS schools and other County children receive one meal at no-cost; and, may have additional meals at no-cost upon request. Adults may purchase breakfast and lunch meals at a cost of $2.00.
