Left to right: The Christmas Stocking Project, the annual yard sale and a fundraising luncheon Additional Information:     Information on pocket quilt mission ministry: Pocket quilts are available for any service member or civilian by contacting Vikki Beaty. Pocket quilts are created by members of the United Methodist Women and other Franconia UMC church members. It is a mini-quilt, approximately 5" x 5" completed. During its construction the pocket quilt is covered in prayer: during assembly, during the sewing and as each knot is tied a prayer is said over the quilt. We pray for the recipients health and well-being, their safety, and their comfort. The quilts are a physical reminder that they are remembered. On her last Sunday prior to moving to Mississippi, Sue receives a UMW recognition pin from Audrey. Cakes made with love have zero calories, right? Sue was a long-time executive board member and vibrant part of our women's group. Edna now carries the title of "FUMW Yard Sale Chairwoman, Emeritus." Sue will return for visits!
