Silver Connections Movie Night Starring Star Wars Save the date Friday, September 8 at 6:30 p.m. for the next senior adult movie night. We are meeting in Cokesbury Hall to watch Star Wars. The 3-B group will provide popcorn and drinks and you can contact the church office if you need transportation or accommodations.

Children and Youth Kick Off Event
Sunday, August 20, following our 11:00 a.m. service, we will be discussing our Children and Youth Discipleship Plan and the changes recently made. As well as the events and programs planned for this coming year here at Franconia UMC. We encourage all families with children and youth to attend. Lunch will be provided. Franconia UMC Back-to-School Lock-in!
What’s a lock-in, some of you may be asking? It’s an overnight event at the church- we are “locked in” for the night; we play games, watch movies, play more games, eat LOTS of junk food/sugary deliciousness… ALL NIGHT LONG. Walking to Fight Hunger Kick-Off Event
Franconia UMC’s annual walk-a-thon to raise funds to support Rise Against Hunger will take place in August. This year, we are shaking things up a little bit! Instead of teams, we are challenging everyone to set a personal goal – and then try to beat it! Stellar VBS at Franconia UMC July 10 – 14, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. – Noon. Launch kids on a cosmic quest where they’ll have a blast shining Jesus’ light to the world. Stellar rockets kids on an out-of-this-world adventure that’s light years of faith-building fun. We will start and end each day in the sanctuary with a time of celebration. Called Church Conference
This Called Church Conference will be for the purpose of approving a resolution to move our church to a modified leadership organizational structure. This new leadership structure will combine the Church Council, the SPPRC, the Board of Trustees and the Finance Committee into one leadership board. The resolution before us may be found here. In a Church Conference, all members of the church are eligible to vote.
